A key online source for news and culture in the U.S. since the ’90s, Salon made its move into mobile with a new app. The UX and UI were designed around a scalable architecture, establishing a clear and economical foundation for introducing new features over time. The first release focused on simplicity and clarity — creating a flexible system that could grow iteratively without compromising the core experience.
